On 23 November 2025, the Confucius Institute at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University successfully organized this year’s second Youth Chinese Test (YCT).
YCT is an international standardized exam that evaluates the Chinese language ability of young learners.
Ten students took part and showed strong motivation and confidence in their Chinese studies. Parents waited supportively outside the exam room, reflecting the growing local interest in learning Chinese.
The Institute ensured smooth exam administration through careful preparation, staff coordination, and strict adherence to testing standards.
This YCT session once again demonstrated the rising enthusiasm for Chinese language education in North Macedonia. The Institute will continue its efforts as we prepare for the HSK exam on 7 December, which will also be held for the second time this year.
