On December 4th, the Confucius Institute at UKIM participated in the themed event “Discovering the World Through Children’s Games” at JUDG OC Kocho Racin Kindergarten in Skopje. The activity, titled “A Journey to Explore Chinese Culture for Macedonian Children,” welcomed around 40 children aged 4 to 6, aiming to enhance cultural awareness and interest in Chinese traditions.
The event featured an engaging introduction to the Confucius Institute, a graceful Chinese dance performance, a mesmerizing hulusi music showcase, an interactive mini Chinese language class, and a hands-on calligraphy experience. The children enthusiastically participated, exploring various aspects of Chinese culture through fun and interactive activities.
This initiative not only provided the children with a meaningful cultural experience but also strengthened the collaboration between the Confucius Institute and local educational institutions. The event showcased the Confucius Institute’s commitment to fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China and North Macedonia.
