From November 15th to 17th, 2024, the Confucius Institute at UKIM actively engaged in the Tea Festival held at Skopje City Mall. The Macedonian Director, Prof. Vlatko Stoilkov, gave a speech during which he emphasized the significance of cultural exchange.
The volunteer teachers of the institute presented captivating Chinese tea ceremonies and traditional dances. Additionally, they organized workshops on calligraphy and paper-cutting, providing the attendees with an immersive experience of Chinese culture.
On November 17th, six Macedonian children from teacher Yang Mingwei’s class charmed the audience with their energetic performances of Chinese songs and dances, such as the Mongolian Dance and the New Year Celebration. Their wonderful display not only demonstrated their excellent learning achievements in Chinese culture but also added a lively and charming touch to the event.
This event not only enhanced the local people’s understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture but also further strengthened the cultural bonds between the two countries.
