On November 4, 2025, H.E. Jiang Xiaoyan, Chinese Ambassador to North Macedonia, visited the Confucius Institute at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
She was warmly welcomed by Directors Prof. Liao Wei and Prof. Vlatko Stoilkov. During the meeting, both sides discussed the Institute’s achievements and the growing cultural and educational cooperation between China and North Macedonia.
Ambassador Jiang engaged in friendly conversations with Chinese/Local teachers, learning about their experiences and daily teaching work. Prof. Liao Wei also introduced the Institute’s key activities in recent years.
Ambassador Jiang praised the Institute’s efforts in promoting mutual understanding and expressed her appreciation for its contribution to cultural exchange. The visit concluded with a cordial exchange of gifts and a group photo, symbolizing the deepening of educational and cultural ties between China and North Macedonia.
