On September 26, 2024, Confucius Institute at UKIM attended a National Day reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy in North Macedonia to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The event, held at the Aleksandar Palace Hotel in Skopje, gathered over 350 guests, including officials from the North Macedonian government, diplomats, representatives from Chinese enterprises, and members of the local Chinese community.
The reception was led by Chargé d’Affaires and Counselor Xu Lei, who shared China’s achievements and highlighted cooperation between China and North Macedonia. The Confucius Institute set up a cultural booth, where guests enjoyed hands-on experiences with Chinese calligraphy and paper-cutting, enhancing cultural ties between the two nations.
