On March 2, Prof. Liao Wei, Co-Director of the Confucius Institute at UKIM, visited the International Slavic University in Sveti Nikole. The visit was facilitated by Mr. Ljupcho Malenkov, President of the Macedonian–Chinese Friendship and Cooperation Association.
During the meeting with Prof. Dr. Jordan Gjorgjev, President of the Management Board of the university, the parties explored the possibility of introducing Chinese language courses into the university’s academic offer and discussed initial steps toward a future program.
As a first official contact, the meeting marked a positive step toward establishing educational ties and expanding opportunities for students interested in Chinese language and culture.
