On February 24, 2026, a Chinese Spring Festival celebration was jointly organized at NOVA International School in Skopje by the Embassy of China, NOVA International School, and the Confucius Institute at UKIM.
H.E. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan delivered opening remarks on the cultural significance of the Spring Festival. Embassy representatives also presented an overview of Chinese New Year traditions and contemporary celebrations.
As the cultural presentation partner, the Confucius Institute at UKIM showcased traditional Chinese arts, including dance, hulusi and guzheng performances. Students also participated in interactive workshops in calligraphy, paper-cutting, and tea culture.
The celebration was organized in separate sessions for elementary, middle, and high school students.
