On February 5th, Thursday, the Chinese Opera on Campus event was successfully held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology(FEEIT), attracting a large number of university students and creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. The event opened with welcome remarks from the Directors of the Confucius Institutes and was honored by an address from the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Jiang Xiaoyan, who highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and people-to-people engagement.
During the event, artists presented traditional Chinese instrumental music, Sichuan Opera face-changing, selected Peking Opera excerpts, and Sichuan Opera excerpts. Students actively participated in interactive sessions, asking questions and engaging directly with the performers.
The event strengthened cultural exchange on campus and received very positive feedback from students.
