The Confucius Institute at UKIM brought a vibrant showcase of Chinese culture to this year’s International Charity Bazaar, attracting visitors with calligraphy name cards, traditional painting, paper-cutting, and cultural souvenirs that quickly became crowd favorites.

Macedonia’s President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, accompanied by Chinese Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan, stopped by the booth, admired the cultural displays, and received a personalized calligraphy piece. Their warm interaction highlighted the growing cultural ties between the two countries.

Volunteer teachers and students from the Institute performed bilingual Chinese-Macedonian songs, guzheng music, Tai chi, and the traditional dance, receiving enthusiastic applause.
