On September 27, 2024, the Confucius Institute at UKIM participated in the annual Apple Festival in Resen Municipality, showcasing Chinese culture and promoting their courses. The booth, featuring traditional crafts like calligraphy and paper cutting, attracted many visitors.
Teachers offered calligraphy demonstrations, games to win cultural gifts, and introduced Chinese sports, sparking interest in Chinese culture and language among students and their families. The Mayor of Resen Mr. Jovan Tozievski and festival organizers warmly welcomed the Institute’s participation.
This is the second year the Institute has taken part, continuing to inspire local interest in learning Chinese and expanding its cultural presence in North Macedonia.
