The Confucius Institute at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius was established on September 3, 2013 on the premises of the National and University Library “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Skopje. The Institute is a Macedonian-Chinese linguistic, cultural and scientific center. The Confucius Institute represents a platform for intercultural and academic dialogue and cooperation between\u00a0Macedonia and China availbale to\u00a0 all citizens.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Confucius\u00a0Institute at the\u00a0 Ss. Cyril and Methodius\u00a0University\u00a0in Skopje (UKIM) was established with a decision of the University Senate in accordance with the signed agreement between the\u00a0 Ss. Cyril and Methodius\u00a0University in Skopje with the Central Administration of the Confucius\u00a0Institute\u00a0(Hanban) and in cooperation with the Southwestern University of Finance and Economy of Chengdu (SWUFE), PR China. The Confucius Institute is located on the ground floor, to the left of the main entrance of the National and University Library “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Skopje. The goal of the Confucius Institute is to mediate the study of Chinese language and culture. All Confucius institutes in the world are established with the initiative of the Government of the People’s Republic of China and in a partnership between the host university and a university in China, in our case, the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics from Chengdu, Sichuan.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
